What data can the AI actually reach?
Confined to a single Procore account. Datagrid reads data inside the account of the company that purchased it — no one else's. What does the security review look like?
Separate agreement. Admin-gated. Projects must be indexed. Getting Datagrid AI running requires a separate Datagrid service agreement on top of your Procore subscription, a Company Admin to enable it, and individually indexing each project to unlock project-specific answers and agentic actions. Once indexed, a project can only be de-indexed by filing a support ticket — there's no self-serve option.
User-permissioned. No new access surface. The native MCP server inherits the user's existing role, workspace, and record-level permissions. The AI sees exactly what the user sees in the UI — nothing more. Revoke a user's access and the AI loses it the same second.
What does it cost as usage grows?
Purchased separately. Credit consumption model. Requires a separate Datagrid subscription on top of Procore. Every AI question, every agent task, and every background sync — including indexing and keeping projects up to date — burns credits.

How is the AI connected to the platform?
Datagrid-mediated. AI runs through Datagrid's infrastructure, embedded in the Procore side panel. Customers can select their preferred model (Claude, GPT, Gemini) inside Datagrid, but all paths to Procore project data route through Datagrid.
Native MCP server, first-party. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any MCP-compatible AI tool directly to INGENIOUS.BUILD via OAuth 2.0. No middleware, no wrappers to maintain, no per-use caps.
How mature is the platform today?
Limited availability as of April 2026. Currently limited to select customers, with broader availability expected this summer — though Procore has made no formal commitment to timeline or feature scope.
